Catalina
1959-1981
The name Catalina was first used to denote a luxurious two-door hardtop model within Pontiac's line-up in 1950. By 1959, the Catalina became a standalone model, serving as the entry-level option in Pontiac's full-size lineup. Despite its affordable positioning, the Catalina offered numerous upscale features typically found in more expensive models. It was available with a variety of powerful engines, ranging from inline-six engines to V8s.
