Lancia

Flaminia

1957-1970

In March 1957 the Flaminia berlina was revealed at the Salone dell'Automobile di Torino. It was Lancia's flagship model at the time, replacing the Aurelia. It was available throughout its lifetime as saloon, coupé and cabriolet. Pinifarina designed and built the coupé while Carrozzeria Touring was responsible for the GT coupé and cabriolet, both recognizable by the four round headlights. Zagato designed and built the two-seater Sport with its distinctive rounded aluminium body. 12,633 Flaminia's were sold over 13 years with the coupé outselling the four-door saloon, an unusual occurrence, while the hand-built coupé bodies made them considerably more expensive than the factory-built berlina.
