De Tomaso
Deauville
1970-1985
At the October 1970 Salone dell'Automobile di Torino the De Tomaso Deauville was introduced, a luxury four-door saloon powered by the same 5,763 cc Ford Cleveland V8 as the De Tomaso Pantera. The car was designed by Tom Tjaarda at Ghia and a total of only 244 cars were produced over two generations in 15 years, including two armoured versions; one for the Italian government and one for the Belgian royal family.
