Volvo

Together with the new 240 series, the six-cylinder 260 series was introduced in the autumn of 1974. Initially only as a sedan, the station car arrived in autumn 1975. The 262C, an exclusive coupé designed by Jan Wilsgaard and built by Bertone, was introduced in 1976. The 2,664 cc V6 engine was developed in cooperation with Renault and Peugeot and was also used in the Renault 30 and Peugeot 604.
