Skoda
100, 110
1969-1980
The Skoda 100 and 110 were introduced in 1969 as successors to the Skoda 1000 MB and remained in production until 1977. Built in Mladá Boleslav, the models retained Skoda’s characteristic rear-engined, rear-wheel-drive layout, but featured updated styling and improved refinement. The Skoda 100 used a 1.0-litre engine, while the 110 was fitted with a larger 1.1-litre unit and often offered in more luxurious trim levels. In 1970 the stylish 110 R coupé joined the range, featuring a sleek fastback body and sportier character. While the saloon models ended production in 1977, the 110 R coupé continued until 1980 and formed the basis for Skoda’s successful rally cars of the 1970s. Altogether, more than one million units of the 100/110 series were produced.
