Seat

The Seat 850 entered production in April 1966 as the Spanish-built version of the Fiat 850, expanding Seat's range above the hugely successful 600. Initially available as a two-door saloon, it was soon joined by two distinctive four-door versions: the rare corto and the longer largo, developed specifically in Spain. Sedan models were powered by an 843 cc engine producing up to 47 hp, while the stylish 850 Sport Coupé and Sport Spider featured a larger 903 cc engine with 51 hp. Introduced in 1971, the luxurious 850 Especial Lujo was offered exclusively as a four-door largo. After Fiat ended Italian production in 1972, Seat continued building the model for several European markets until production ceased in 1974, when it was replaced by the Seat 133.
