Seat

The Seat 127 debuted in the spring of 1972 as the Spanish-built version of the Fiat 127 and quickly became one of Spain's most popular superminis. Alongside the familiar two- and three-door models, Seat introduced an exclusive four-door saloon in 1973, a body style never offered by Fiat. While most versions used the proven 903 cc engine, Seat also developed its own 1,010 cc variant producing 52 hp. A facelift arrived in 1977, bringing revised styling with a new grille, bumpers and taillights, while a five-door hatchback joined the range in 1980. Following the end of the Fiat licensing agreement, the updated model continued in production as the Seat Fura until 1986. In total, more than 1.23 million Seat 127s were built.
