Lloyd

600, Alexander

1955-1961

In 1955, Lloyd introduced the 600, essentially a slightly larger and more powerful version of the 400 with a two-cylinder 596 cc engine. The Alexander, introduced two years later, had a four-speed gearbox, while the standard 600 had only three. Furthermore, the trunk was accessible from outside, while the standard 600's trunk could only be accessed from inside. In 1958, the range was supplemented by the Alexander TS, whose engine had been slightly tuned, producing 25 hp instead of the 19 hp of the other models.
